Install the app on your device
Both portals install like a native app — full screen, home-screen icon, push updates. First sign in to your portal in the browser, then follow your device's steps.
- Open your portal in Safari and sign in.
- Tap the Share button (square with an arrow).
- Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Launch it from your home screen like any app.
- Open your portal in Chrome and sign in.
- Tap the ⋮ menu, top right.
- Choose Install app (or Add to Home screen).
- Confirm — the icon appears on your home screen.
- Open your portal in Chrome or Edge and sign in.
- Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
- Click Install — it opens in its own window.
- Pin it to the taskbar from its right-click menu.
- Open your portal and sign in.
- Chrome: click the install icon in the address bar, then Install.
- Safari: File menu, then Add to Dock.
- Launch it from the Dock or Launchpad.
Employees install from imprint.wissenhub.com after signing in; authors install from imprint.wissenhub.com/portal. Each installs as its own app with its own icon.
